The John W. Campbell Award is given to the best new writer whose first work of science fiction or fantasy appeared during 2006 or 2007 in a professional publication. Allow me to be the first to give you a public “huzzah” for your nomination. Huzzah! Well deserved. Although be warned that if you win both the PKD and the Campbell this year, we will hunt you down and bludgeon you with sacks full of pennies.
